NGOs plant 300 trees to cancel out 300 tons of Carbon
By planting trees, organizations work towards cancelling out their carbon footprint.
The Association for Forests, Development and conservation (AFDC) and G Association will plant 300 cedar trees as part of an effort to offset their carbon emissions.

By planting trees, organizations work towards cancelling out their carbon footprint. The trees breathe in the CO2 emissions as they grow.
For every tree that is planted, almost a ton of carbon is saved.

AFDC makes sure to monitor their reforestation efforts. The organization locates a site to plant the trees that are within communities or municipalities that are willing to preserve the area. They do not want the municipalities to use the land for other purposes later on.

AFDC aims to conserve the environment with the view of achieving sustainable development.

G Association is a non-governmental organization that works on advocacy, awareness, and research around the environment.
