EU Lebanon Cooperation Days in May Panel to discuss environmental challenges: Better water and waste management Lebanese and European partners will showcase their activities in sectors including economic development, natural resources, and infrastructure. The conference will be hosted by the Pavilion Royale in BIEL on May 8-9. The first panel will address environmental challenges. Panelists will discuss different paths to better water and waste management. They will also talk about the development of a sustainable rural policy that prevents the destruction of the environment. Lebanon and the EU are working together to care for the Mediterranean Sea with the aim of protecting their shared ecosystem. The two-day meeting is organized by the European Delegation to Lebanon, in collaboration with the EU Member States. It will be open to the public.
